Summary/Objective Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. Essential Functions Include:

  • Serving as subject matter expert liaison between customer and directorate staff and personnel.
  • Providing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and reporting directorate level personnel for required annual training and certifications.
  • Providing technical direction and oversight of all internal and external tours involving the directorate.
  • Providing expert knowledge of chain of command, organization, mission, and internal structure of relationships.
  • Tracking internal/external taskers assigned to the directorate.
  • Compiling necessary funding documentation for requesting Defense Acquisition Workforce Development Account (DAWDA) course approval, conference attendance, and outsourced training courses.
  • Performing directorate level accountability following all federal holidays, building evacuations, and severe weather.
  • Providing directorate level leadership with a weekly OPTEMPO report.
  • Planning and executing various ceremonies.
  • Tracking Department of the Army Civilian (DAC) mission certification status.
  • Tracking and compiling information and preparing various reports and correspondence in accordance with Army Regulation 25-50.

Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of ten (10) years experience providing administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

Preferred Experience Prior military organization employment as military or civilian, and corresponding understanding of military headquarters staff organization, roles, and relationships. Executive-level or senior manager-level administrative support. Proficient in using Microsofts Office 365 suite of applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as the SharePoint data system. Familiarity with Army training systems such as CERTRAX. Knowledgeable in Army regulations within the operations and administration sphere such as AR 25-50 (Preparing Correspondence) and AR 25-400 (Army Records Information Management).

Work Environment A professional office in which typical office equipment and information technology is used; indoor and outdoor test and evaluation support facilities; and outdoor equipment, vehicles, and storage facilities. Physical Demands Physical demands described must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of the job; the ability to see, hear, and speak; lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds; sit for extended time; the ability to operate government provided vehicles.
