The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) organization is seeking an Associate or Experienced Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer to join the Integrated Design Engineering Team in Huntsville, AL on the Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) missile-defense program.
The Integrated Design Engineering team is responsible for designing radar seeker upgrades and next generation concepts, as well as supporting production and special test equipment design. Boeing has a multi-year contract to develop, test, and manufacture the PAC-3 radar seeker, recently named "the coolest thing made in Alabama for 2025". This program encompasses concurrent design, test, and manufacturing as new upgrades to this complex electro-mechanical assembly are incorporated into production. This long-term program is rapidly growing in Huntsville due to design updates, production growth, and Boeing facilities investment(s). This position will independently develop, review, and document complex mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design. Develop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort. Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements. Perform detail design development and supports modification of mechanical and fluid system installations. Provides spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanical systems. Provide disposition, corrective actions, and coordination with cross-functional groups to identify/implement solutions and drive strategic improvements relative to production processes.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post start is required.
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
This is a 1st shift position. Schedule is M-Thurs; 4x10.

Summary pay range: Associate (Level 2): $76,500 - $103,500 Experienced (Level 3): $95,500 - $128,800
