At Matsu, the Language Services Coordinator is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with company managers in order to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications. Develop strategy and initiate company recruiting efforts by writing and posting job descriptions on relevant platforms, in both Spanish and English. Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources to execute innovative strategies in order to find quality candidates and prospect for new business. Evaluate potential candidates applications. Manage potential candidates throughout the entire hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation. Maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, active and terminated employees, and other necessary designations. Perform the company’s new hire orientation in both Spanish and English, providing support to department managers who also participate.
Minimum Requirements: Requires at least three (3) years of experience teaching English to native Spanish speakers. This position also requires demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following: database management; conducting interviews for prospective hires using various methods (phone, video, email, and in-person); Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word, and Power Point); cognitive stimulations; glottodidatics; and group learning management. Such knowledge and experience can be gained concurrently through a combination of employment, internships (part-time or full-time) and/or academic studies. This position also requires verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish.
