Additional locations may be considered. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mainframe DevOps Developer to join our enterprise infrastructure team. This role focuses on modernizing mainframe operations by integrating DevOps practices, automating workflows, and improving deployment pipelines for legacy and hybrid systems. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mainframe applications, integrating mainframe systems with modern DevOps tools, automating build, test, and deployment processes across environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support agile development and release cycles, monitoring and optimizing performance of mainframe DevOps processes, ensuring compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in mainframe environments and pipelines.
Required skills and experience include familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, experience with automation and scripting, familiarity with REST APIs and service orchestration, knowledge of source control and versioning in mainframe environments, understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with mainframe modernization or hybrid cloud integration, exposure to enterprise monitoring tools, certifications in DevOps, IBM z/OS, or related technologies, and strong experience with mainframe technologies.
