Field Service Engineer - Remote Eligible

Remote Field Service Engineer + Travel

This position involves traveling to large material handling sites to perform controls qualifications, specifically I/O checks, on newly installed equipment. Ideally suited for someone based in a central location, the projects are primarily located in the western region.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to various sites up to 80% of the time, typically Monday to Friday over two weeks, followed by a one-week break.
• Perform I/O checks on 10-20 conveyance lines at material handling sites.
• Engage in PLC programming and debugging with vendors, primarily using Ladder Logic, comprising 75% of the role.
• Ensure vendor quality assurance and compliance with IQ/OQ standards.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in PLC Programming.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Strong controls engineering knowledge.
• Ability to travel extensively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Vendor management experience.
• Experience with controls engineering and IQ/OQ standards.

Work Environment:

On weeks when not traveling, candidates have the flexibility to work remotely from home. The position offers the opportunity to be part of a new team with potential for further work after the first contract.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
