This position is responsible for achieving net income growth by identifying and developing energy conservation and performance contract projects. This position will oversee preparation of project scope, energy analysis, engineering design documents and bidding projects in a timely and highly professional manner. Also responsible for preparing and presenting sales presentations to customers, procuring project financing (if applicable) and preparing contracts with customers and contractors. The energy services projects work will be focused within the C&I (Commercial & Industrial), as well as the MUSH (Municipal, University, School, and Hospital) customer markets. When applicable, the energy services engineer will work within the State of Alabama Performance Contracting process for state funded entities within the MUSH markets. The position will be responsible for achieving top quartile customer satisfaction goals by providing customer value in all aspects of the customer relationship.
Candidates that meet the below criteria are encouraged to apply:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or similar field preferred
5+ Years Experience working across functional areas within an Energy Services Company (ESCO) or Energy Service Provider
Experience in Sales, Project Development, and Implementation
Experience preparing and presenting sales presentations to customers, procuring project financing (if applicable) and preparing contracts with customers and contractors
Working knowledge of C&I mechanical and electrical systems, including lighting, boilers, chillers, motors, drives and HVAC equipment.
Must be organized and attentive to details, and can handle multiple tasks and prioritize
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including interface with customers, engineers, contractors, and equipment vendors
Ability to resolve problems and other issues in a positive manner between customers, manufacturers, contractors, and other stakeholders
