The Global Services Engineering Team creates and maintains applications enabling Global Services teams to deliver value and make informed, data-driven decisions. These tools provide insights for business leaders to understand operations, enhance decision-making, and improve business visibility. Additionally, they offer analytical intelligence to address customer needs proactively and identify new opportunities for organizational growth and success.

You will be part of a global engineering team responsible for building and maintaining web-based applications that drive automation and efficiency.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, building and maintaining a range of web-based applications while following best-practices and methodologies in SDLC.
• Collaborating closely with the Project Management, Engineering and Testing teams
• Supporting existing applications and components - monitor, troubleshoot, correct software bugs/errors and implement enhancements
• Engaging in infrastructure oversight, security administration, and managing risk alongside compliance responsibilities.
• Maintaining DevOps tool chain, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools, while managing incidents and performing root cause analysis.
• Automating processes and typical workflows to enhance operational efficiency and improve overall effectiveness.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Possess at least 2 years experience creating web applications using Java, Python, or GoLang, following established development practices and methodologies.
• Demonstrate expertise in Linux and familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible technologies.
• Possess expertise in databases like PostGres and MySQL, with proficiency in front-end web development using ReactJS, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Work with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, demonstrating expertise in modern cloud-based technologies and solutions.
• Demonstrate expertise with dashboard tools like Grafana or Kibana and familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, and ElasticSearch for monitoring.
• Demonstrate expertise in system administration, including server provisioning, database deployment, security monitoring, system patching, and network connectivity management.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with teams, leaders, and stakeholders to ensure productive and efficient interactions.
