Akamai technical support is responsible for delivering customer experiences and success for a broad range of businesses across the globe. From high tech, banking, airlines, to fashion, we ensure that their online businesses are fast, reliable, and protected.

Partner with the best

In this role, you will be partnering with our customers as an extension of their IT, engineering, and DevOps organizations. You'll be their primary point of contact to resolve a broad range of technical issues as they arise.

As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that our customers remain happy with our products and services.
  • Working with customers to own and solve their technical problems.
  • Acting as the main contact to proactively analyze and solve technical issues.
  • Collaborating and working closely with internal cross-functional teams to drive problems to resolution.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Have an understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS.
  • Have an understanding of VPN & Proxies
  • Have an understanding of cloud provider ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, etc
  • Have Exposure to layer 3 / 4 technologies.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Oauth, SAML, and Active Directories to enhance authentication and authorization processes effectively.
