Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

For supporting the quality and stability of systems, we are looking for a Manual Quality Assurance Engineer.

Required knowledge and skills:

• 2+ years of MQA experience, with 1+ years of backend testing experience
• Knowledge of client-server architecture
• Knowledge of API (Postman) and methods of its testing
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Basic knowledge of networks (network), Linux
• Work with logs and logging systems
• Knowledge of STLC and its application in practice (building testing processes)
• Work with requirements (static testing), their decomposition into test documentation
• Writing all types of test documentation (Jira/TestRail)

Plus:

• Understanding of metrics and experience with DataDog, Grafana
• Performance testing (own scripts, Jmeter and others)
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with Kibana, Docker, AWS
• Understanding of embedded systems

Responsibilities:

• Testing backend, namely: cloud server
• Work with various protocols: low-level binary, API, gRPC
• Support programmers during development
• Assist technical support in resolving complex cases
• Ability to take responsibility for a separate part of the project
