We are looking for an outstanding Senior Solutions Engineer to join our GTM team in North America. You are going to be our very first Solutions Engineer that has a primary focus on supporting our customer success function, working alongside the team and our biggest customers. The Solutions Engineering Team lives at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Product. We support all teams — including Customer Success — with our technical and commercial knowledge to achieve their objectives. Although you will be reporting to the Solutions Engineering Manager, your role will predominantly require you to work closely with our most important customers on a global scale.

This role can be based in our Bellevue (Seattle) or San Francisco offices on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus is on growing Aircall's most strategic customers together with the Aircall Customer Success team.
  • Ensure that renewals of key customers of Aircall are done timely and that all open topics are addressed.
  • Support in upselling other Aircall products by explaining or demoing the features.
  • Support in escalation situations to provide technical guidance and workarounds.
  • Scope improvements for customers that involve Aircall add-ons, REST API of Aircall and other platforms for the Professional Services team to implement.
  • Secondary focus on supporting Aircall Account Executives with new prospects.
  • Co-pilot strategic opportunities with Aircall Account Executives from early qualification to successfully closing.
  • Respond to technical and functional elements of RFXs and security questionnaires.
  • Liaise with the other GoToMarket teams about key initiatives, processes and best practices.
  • Work with the Aircall product team to understand and prioritize topics that are important for multiple key customers.
  • Capture and understand missing key features and their impact.
  • Advocate with the Aircall product team to test new features, support in beta programs, guide existing customers to adopt these features and capture their feedback.

Qualifications:

  • You already have at least two years of previous experience in one of these roles: Solutions/Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect/Technical Account Manager.
  • You have worked multiple years with post-sales teams in the software/Saas industry. Having work experience with a platform that sells multiple products is a plus.
  • You are thrilled by understanding customer needs in all stages of the sales cycle and you love going into the nitty gritty details of their use cases.
  • You are curious but always critical. Understanding why is what drives your daily conversations and you are ready to challenge people's thinking in a positive way.
  • You live in the nexus between business, sales, and technology.
  • You know the basics of at least one programming language (e.g. Javascript, Ruby, Go, Python, etc.) and understand the concepts of web servers, APIs/Webhooks and databases.
  • You have a proven track record of managing complex projects and several stakeholders with different backgrounds (you can convince the Head of Sales and also talk tech with the PM).
  • You are fluent in English, and Spanish and/or French language skills are a plus.

$120,000 - $140,000 a year

OTE: 160-180K (40K bonus)

This base range is not including a 40K annual bonus, equity, and other benefits. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
