In order to support the Cabin Engineering - SA Planning & Data Management team, Airbus Operations is looking for a working student - data analyst.

The Team

Your placement will be in Cabin Engineering in the SA Planning & Data Management team. We are an international team of supportive individuals with a multitude of backgrounds. You will be able to put into practice your data skills, while learning more about Fleet, Project Management and Planning.

Your Location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) in the field of computer science or software development.
  • You are people and goal-oriented, curious and do not fear questioning the status quo!
  • You know Python and/or other relevant programming languages.
  • You have good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of English and German.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

As an integral part of the team, you will support the digital transformation. Here are some examples of activities you will be involved in but it also depends on the business needs AND your wishes for development!

As such:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, analyze & visualize Engineering data from various sources.
  • End User Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with end users, stakeholders, and IT teams to gain understanding of their requirements, pain points, and expectations.
  • Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to end user satisfaction and service delivery metrics.
  • Data Visualization: Create visually compelling reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate analysis findings.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of Engineering data through regular data quality checks and validation. Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to address data discrepancies and improve data quality processes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document analysis methodologies, assumptions, and findings in clear and concise reports. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing analysis results, actionable recommendations, and their impact on end user satisfaction.
