The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
  • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
  • Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28. For more information: https://mon-vie-via.businessfrance.fr/ (in English, German, Italian and Spanish)

The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months.

A VIE for an Improvement Support Analyst has arisen within Satair U.S.A in Miami, Florida. You will join the Quality Americas department.

The Satair Miami site manager and HO Quality Americas is looking for an improvement analyst to support the currently ongoing initiatives to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the site's processes and facility.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Support the ongoing and new improvement projects for the Miami site (office and warehouse)
  • Introduce and maintain the new Training management tool for the Production team
  • Support the Miami teams in developing reports in Skywise

This role will involve some travel for business, less than 10% within North America, and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

You have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline or having equivalent professional experience
  • 1 or 2 years of experience in a production, repair or logistic organization (apprenticeships and internships included)
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, not including apprenticeships or internships is preferred
  • Very good understanding of Microsoft office and Google suite tools
  • Good understanding of data analytics and reporting tools (preferable Skywise)
  • Familiarity with project management governance and change processes
  • Good understanding of operational needs for a production and repair organisation

In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Strong skills in stakeholder management
  • Very structured working culture
  • Independent and self-motivated working culture
  • Fluency in English
