Methods Supervisor

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for a Methods Supervisor to join our Methods team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.

In this role, you will be required to:
- Exercise leadership in alignment with the company's vision and values;
- Work effectively under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
- Manage team performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
- Define manufacturing plan strategies;
- Plan and coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI);
- Manage the ANDON process;
- Identify production needs and optimize processes (Waste elimination / Lean Manufacturing);
- Ensure staff training and qualification;
- Manage tooling, manufacturing, and assembly;
- Optimize plant layout, environment, health, safety, and ergonomics;
- Provide assembly workers with the appropriate work instructions;
- Plan manufacturing engineering (Methods) activities and track progress;
- Participate in benchmarking and best practices to drive world-class performance;
- Coach your team (10–15 employees) to develop talent within the organization.
As our ideal candidate,
- You possess an educational and/or technical background in Aerospace or Management with approximately ten (10) years of experience;
- You demonstrate leadership, strong judgment, and flexibility, and you are able to work with minimal supervision;
- You have successfully managed technical projects to ensure optimal product industrialization;
- You have strong interpersonal skills.
