Structural Analysis Engineer

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Wide Bodies A350 and A330 / Product Delivery based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing Engineering Support. As part of the WB MAP/PET Structure Fuselage team, you will be involved in providing Engineering remedy to any Airframe issue encountered in the flow aiming at securing Aircraft deliveries on time and Quality.

Your challenges

  • Liaising with all relevant stakeholders (FAL, Customer Line, Flight Test, Program, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering specialists) to frame the Non Conformity (NC).
  • Analyzing any NC impact on aircraft airworthiness requirements and providing Engineering assessment to recover compliance.
  • Ensuring technical content for any documents dealing with aircraft conformity (NC, Concessions, Design Query Notes, etc.).
  • Identifying areas of inefficiency/repetitive issues and contributing to changes in processes and procedures.
  • Representing Airframe Engineering for Quality improvements, including NC root-cause investigation and corrective actions.

Your boarding pass

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Technical expertise: Solid background on Airframe Structure Stress analysis, and the related processes and methods, Metallic and Composite.
  • Customer-oriented, team player, able to coordinate and communicate across boundaries, with leadership in a non-hierarchical environment.
  • Methodical and rigorous, agile, pragmatic, able to make decisions and perform in a reactive environment and under pressure.
  • Fluent level in English (French is a plus).
