Your mission, si vous l'acceptez : An internship opportunity titled « Stage support aux opérations aériennes (h/f) » has just opened at Airbus SAS located in Saint-Martin on Toulouse site. You will join the "1VVIO" department in charge of Flight tests support. Your internship will consist in establishing a complete flight dispatch skills development center to ensure and maintain the high level of requirements set by the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) for all the dispatchers working in this department. Ideally, this is a 6 months internship and it should start in April (date subject to flexibility).

The intern's key mission will be to develop and implement a training program and procedures. This program will serve as a training path for all newcomers, as well as Airbus staff by maintaining skills through refresher courses in several domains such as: navigation, ATM, aircraft weight and balance, aircraft performance, human factors, security, cabin crew familiarization, survival/first aid, etc…

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Create the "Flight Dispatch Skills Development Center"
  • Determine training requirements by analyzing both team needs and regulatory standards.
  • Designing and developing a comprehensive training path in close coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Implementing this new program and establishing robust, efficient procedures to ensure its long-term success.
  • Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the team's progress and measure the success of the program.
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects to enhance our team's way of working and overall efficiency.

This is an opportunity to create a training tool in coordination with the various stakeholders (internal and external) and other legal entities, and to work at the heart of Airbus Flight tests. Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills. This internship will allow you to develop the following skills: International environment with the opportunity to network globally. Work with diverse communities such as Flight Dispatch, Pilots, Flight Test Engineers, Aircraft specialists, Training centers... Relational and project management skills.

Your boarding pass: You are preparing a diploma level Bac+5, full-time student pursuing a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field. You possess the following competencies: Technical skills / knowledge: Flight Dispatcher, Flight operations knowledge, Aircraft knowledge, Aviation Regulations (ICAO, EASA…), Project management. Writing skills: edit clear and detailed procedures. Soft Skills: Team spirit, collaborative mindset, Proactive, Autonomous. Languages skills: English: intermediate, French: fluent.
