HR Business Partner
To provide advanced support to the HR Manager across multiple HR functional areas including payroll, HR analytics, HR operations, employee relations, and continuous process improvement. The role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, ensuring data accuracy, improving HR processes, and supporting strategic HR initiatives. The position also serves as a key liaison between HR, employees, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to support the organization's business goals and foster a positive employee experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruitment & On-boarding
- Take lead in overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates (Only 2nd Interview for Job Bands below 6B).
- Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition and a positive onboarding experience that is a key driver of early engagement and productivity.
Performance Management
- Assist with the company's performance appraisal process, ensuring a smooth and fair cycle.
Internal Communications / Employee Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Take lead when it comes to communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment in the way HR operates.
- Plan and implement engagement strategies that align with business culture and drive employee experience.
Mobility Management
- Forecast, plan ahead and manage all aspects of Employment Pass applications (Including Dependent Passes) and other work visa processes.
- Responsible for ensuring work permit applications including renewal is in full compliance with local immigration laws, and working on tight deadlines to meet business needs.
Off Boarding / Employee Exit
- Conduct exit interviews (Below Job Band 6B only) and analyze feedback to identify trends.
- Partner with HR Manager to propose, develop and implement Strategic Employee Retention plans to keep a healthy turnover rate.
HR Systems
- Maintain and update employee data in BIPO with a high degree of accuracy.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support strategic decision-making.
Training & Development
- Manage the company's annual training plan in alignment with business objectives and employee development needs, based on the annual One Airbus Training Plan.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and data analysis.
- Maintain accurate training records and employee development logs.
- Responsible for preparing the Training Bond, ensuring it's completely signed before Training commences and submitting it for Stamping.
HRDC Claims Management
- Ensure the company's compliance with HRDC regulations and requirements.
- Manage the HRDC claims process (excluding applying for training grants via eTRiS system) Preparing and submitting all necessary documentation, such as invoices, attendance sheets, and training schedules.
- Tracking and following up on the status of claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of all HRDC-related activities and correspondence.
Talent Management & Development:
- Support the administration of talent management initiatives, succession planning, and career pathing.
- Collaborate with managers to create individual development plans.
- Help maintain and update job descriptions.
Other HR Task
- Work closely with the HR Manager to strategically plan and execute projects, such as organizational development, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters in the HR Manager's absence, demonstrating the ability to make sound decisions and handle urgent issues with minimal supervision.
- Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company.
