Service Bulletin Writer - Mechanical Structure

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Service Bulletin Writer - Mechanical Structure to join our Technical Publications team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

Your challenges:
- Review and approve design changes and RSI for feasibility and completeness for in-service implementation.
- Write and edit Service Bulletins with complex inspections or modifications.
- Be able to propose modifications to engineering to minimize in-service efforts.
- Write service bulletins in 'Simplified Technical English'.
- Validate Service Bulletins at operator sites or authorized service center.
- Review vendor/partner Service Bulletins.
- Convey technical definition for tooling requirements and approve Tool Design concepts.
- Create and approve Kit Definitions and Condition Of Supply documents.
- Validate and incorporate Design Authority designee/airworthiness Service Bulletin approval comments.
- Create Advance Order Material for urgent Service Bulletins.
Your boarding pass:
- You have a college degree in aircraft maintenance and five (5) years of experience in aviation (as a technician, methods agent or technical writer).
- You have a strong knowledge of aircraft system/structure.
- You must be proficient with CATIA, S1000D, SAP, Microsoft and Google suite.
- You must be a committed team player, responsible, good communicator and negotiator.
- You are able to handle stress and push/pull on other departments to respect the committed deadlines.
- You are customer oriented and fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
- You have a superior level in English (written).
This role may involve some occasional travels for business (worldwide).
This may require to work outside normal working hours to support emergencies.
