Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an R&T Pylon Structure Design Engineer to join our department Pylon Engineering, based in Toulouse, France.
The future aircraft will definitely bring a new propulsion system never seen in the past! In this frame, the Propulsion Airframe Engineering domain is preparing all the conditions to get launch ready for this future program. At component level, for the past years, the Pylon Engineering team is developing the future product and it is time now to develop future competencies, with highly motivated design structure engineers!

The Pylon Engineering department is involved in almost all the pylon product lifecycle, starting from the earliest architecture studies, R&T domain, New Development up to Aircraft Certification, Support to Production, Support for In-Service fleet, and Continuous development of the product (Modification). This working environment provides a large playground for people's development.
Pylon function is to ensure the primary link between the engine and the aircraft and to route aircraft vital functions such as bleed, hydraulic, electrical. As such, the product is an integration of multi-disciplines.
The department consists of ~100 skilled engineers (design, stress analysis), as well as project leaders, with a good balance of experienced and younger team members; all those are located in Toulouse facilities, either in St Martin site for R&T activities or St Eloi, the historical pylons manufacturing plant. This proximity with the plant enhances the co-design approach to define the most efficient product in the most efficient industrial model.
You will be onboarded on current R&T projects to contribute to the operational design structure deliverables, while continuously learning on the R&T products, methods and tools. You will be closely mentored by experienced engineers who will share their knowledge to ease your upskilling plan. You will be integrated into the overall design structure community.
