Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Structural Analyst
An opportunity for a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Structural Analyst has arisen within Airbus Commercial, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the RFE Stress Team. The mission of the RFE Stress Team is to lead the present and next generation of aircrafts with the design and sizing of an optimized RFE, ensuring product safety, in time and quality. With a vision to size our future with collaboration, efficiency, and reliability, thanks to our agile and technically competent team.
As Stress Team: Development and validation of innovative design solutions answering complex challenges in a multifunctional context. Perform analysis and validation structures for static & fatigue strength while insuring safe operation of Products with respect to structural integrity and operational effectiveness.
Main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Analyse composite & hybrid structures for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance according to validated methods.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
- Define, interpret and validate tests. Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacture and support to other functions (i.e. production, customer support) as needed.
- Provide stress analysis for the repair/acceptance of damaged structures.
- Perform monitoring/guidance/support of Sub-contracting firms providing structure analysis work.

- Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 5 years in Engineering, more than 3 years in F&DT skill.
- Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
- Languages: Advanced level in Spanish & English.
- Technical knowledge: Nastran, Hyperview, programming in python
