Safety comes first in what we do at Airbus. The architecture of the different Aircraft Systems meet the highest safety requirements through rigorous engineering for a safe and optimized integration of aircraft. The design of these safety critical Systems (like Fuel systems, Air conditioning System, Hydraulic System, Electrical System etc.) is highly iterative and is driven by Systems Engineering principles to ensure consistency and traceability.
Multi-system Physical Architecture (MSPA) Team ensures that the architecture design of these different systems, conforms to the safety requirements and answers Functional Hazard Analysis done at various levels, thereby eliminating or mitigating failure effects that may result in Aircraft Level Catastrophic Condition.
As a Multi-System Physical Architecture – Engineer, you will be responsible for a host of activities in the area of Aircraft functional and physical safety analysis. You will rigorously use System engineering principles to verify and validate system safety requirements, which will expose you to aircraft level functions. Your contribution comes early on in the development cycle, which ensures we integrate aircraft systems the right way.
