Industrial Tolerancing and Capability Engineer

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Industrial Tolerancing and Capability engineer to join our End to End Technical Industrialization based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing Industrial Tolerancing analysis of current and future industrial production systems. As part of the Industrial tolerancing team within Airbus Commercial business, you will be involved in diverse projects covering from elementary parts to Final Assembly lines covering all related activities of Industrial tolerancing domain aiming at delivering best in class analyzing ensuring product requirements meet industrial system capabilities.

Your challenges:

  • Product Datum to industrial system coherence and cascade
  • Definition Industrial system Datum and tolerance analysis and computation
  • Ensure Product tolerances are compatible with Industrial system capabilities
  • Translation of industrial build process into Industrial Tolerancing Document
  • Contribute to R&T and R&D technologies demonstration with regards to Industrial system Geometrical capability and variability analysis
  • Support trades and Industrial architect team to select best Industrial system build concept for future projects

Your boarding pass:

  • Engineering education
  • 2-3 years of experience on Aeronautical Industry, Automotive, Naval or similar
  • Knowledge of Tolerancing ISO regulation
  • Knowledge of Tolerancing simulation and authoring tools: MecaMaster, 3DCS, Polyworks, Catiav5 and/or 3DX
  • Demonstrated background on product and/or Industrial Tolerancing
  • Experience on Industrial system design is a plus
  • Flexibility to work in a wide variety of projects from R&T to support to production
  • Innovation, out of the box thinking, ability to work in a multicultural environment within a multifunctional team.
