Subject to the successful closing of the transaction with Spirit, after obtaining relevant regulatory approvals

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of an Industrial Assembly Manufacturing Engineer within the aircraft assembly perimeter.

The successful candidate will join the Assembly Technology Team.

Your overall responsibilities will involve the management of drilling, fastening, jigs & tools and measurement activities to secure the industrialization of technologies and the implementation of robust processes.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Specify industrial jigs, tools and machinery for the industrial evolution
  • Support Production on critical disturbances related to assembly technologies and processes
  • Liaise with the wider assembly technology networks and engage engineering in problem solving initiatives
  • Set-up of a local technology deployment plan to represent customer needs and reflecting global technology standards
  • Development and implementation of new drilling, fastening and measurement methods, tools, processes and technologies
  • As part of the role you will have the opportunity to work alongside a transnational team across all major Airbus Commercial production facilities

ABOUT YOU

  • Educated at degree level in Manufacturing Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering and assembly processes
  • Knowledge in specifying tools & machinery
  • Interest in digitalization of manufacturing & new technologies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Willingness and creativity
