Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Stress Engineer to join our Aircraft Airframe Propulsion In-Service team based in Toulouse, France.
You will join the In-Service Propulsion Airframe engineering teams, developing structural repairs and engineering solutions for the Pylon, Engine Mounts & Nacelle components, across all Airbus Family products, to materialize our vision: "We keep the airlines flying at any time and all around the world".

Analyze damage reports and provide stress justifications of repair instructions enabling quick return to service of the aircraft (passengers may be waiting on board)
Prepare stress justification, or approve when you have signatory delegations, for the technical repair solutions in accordance with AIRBUS methods and principles and airworthiness requirements.
Support and approve technical solutions proposed by our extended team (subcontractors or other Airbus Engineering centres)
Coordinate with all interfaces on a daily basis (internal or external Customer representatives, other physical aircraft components, other functions as needed ..)
Analyze recurring cases and develop generic solutions to provide more autonomy to our internal/external customers
Contribute to team efficiency by proposing improvement and sustainable initiatives : digitalization, automation, innovation, repair by replace
Influence new aircraft design by sharing your knowledge of in-service operations
Educated to a 5 years-degree level (or equivalent) in Aeronautical/Mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
You are curious, you demonstrate a customer-oriented mindset, able to perform in a high pressure environment and you are solution driven.
You thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
You have good communication skills
You have a first experience in stress analysis (Justification in Static / Fatigue / Damage tolerance for certification, concessions, repairs)
You have knowledge in Airbus stress tools (analytical, ISAMI, FEM).
Pylon or Nacelle structures experience, as well as a past or present technical delegation (DOS) for a structural component, will be a plus.
