Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Creating and preparing SRM justification reports to our design colleagues as an input for SRM creation and publication
  • Analyzing the structure according to static criteria and documenting the results for technical approval and authorization by your colleagues
  • Supporting the on-time delivery of input data from various teams (Airbus internal, risk sharing partners and subcontractors)
  • Exchanging, cooperating and coordinating with the different SRM skill teams (design, authoring and management)
  • Proposing and implementing ideas to make sure we have our SRM available 100% at Entry Into Service and with highest standards on quality
  • Developing yourself making your job easier every single day and ensuring a faster but also better quality of your deliverables

Desired skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Civil, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Knowledge about static justification methods for metallic and composite structures
  • Strong understanding and experience with Finite Element Modeling (FEM) is required
  • Passionate of aircraft design while having basic knowledge in it
  • Interested in structural repair solutions
  • Ability to write and understand Python scripts for various tasks is a plus
  • Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts, algorithms, and their practical applications in data analysis and predictive modeling
  • Basic knowledge of digitalization
  • English fluent, German is a plus
