We are looking for engineers to support the development and integration of electrical machines (e.g. generators) for future A/C platforms capable of dealing with the challenges of both classical and hybrid propulsion systems.

The job requires interactions with a large community of stakeholders: Program, flight and lab tests, supply chain, system installation, airframe, quality, procurement, certification, chief engineering, other aircraft systems and subcontractors, etc.

Your role will be to collaborate in the following activities:

  • Support development of electrical machines for aeronautical applications.
  • Support integration of an electrical machine in an engine environment considering its constraints (cooling, lubrication, installation, vibration, etc).
  • Ensure compliance with design standards of safety, cost, quality, time, performance and maturity.
  • Support design trades and evaluate electrical machine topologies and the underlying technology bricks focusing on maturation and implementation capabilities.
  • End to end Supplier follow-up during the entire development cycle.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering or related.
  • Proven experience in electrical machine integration (mechanical and electrical).
  • Proven experience of system engineering processes, V&V, supplier and project management.
  • Experience in electrical machine control and protection strategies.
  • Experience on thermal and lubrication management of electrical machines.
  • Strong relationship building, networking and communication skills.
  • High degree of initiative, integrity, confidentiality and trust.
  • Languages: Negotiation level of English.
