This position supports the development and customization of aircraft cabin and cargo interiors/payloads for airline customers. Duties include performing engineering design, analysis and integration of aircraft interior components and systems from initial conceptual phase to final product installation, and providing engineering support to airline customers in the operation of the aircraft.

Required education is a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical). Preferred education is a minor in Computer Science. Required experience is 0 to 3 years total experience in design/analysis with cabin and cargo and/or system installation projects. Preferred experience is an internship in the aerospace engineering field.
Travel required is 10% domestic and international. Authorized to work in the US. Required skills include understanding basic technical principles, theories, and concepts, working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and being dependable, self-motivated, and accessible. Preferred skills include software coding in C, C++, Python, or other programming languages.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written). Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and disciplines. Effectively communicates issues, solutions, ideas, and status of current work to the Lead. Conversational French and/or German is preferred.
The role involves work closely supervised; following specific, detailed instructions, and involves regular communication on a regular basis with internal parties only. Physical requirements include vision, hearing, speaking, equipment operation, carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, sitting, squatting/kneeling, standing, travel, and walking.
