Cabin Assignment Module Customization Engineer (M/F/D)

We are looking for a Cabin Assignment Module Customization Engineer (m/f/d).

The Cabin Assignment Module Customization Engineer (d/f/m) is responsible for the continuous development of the cabin configuration from the beginning of the definition to the creation of customer-specific offers, ensuring constant improvement and adaptation of existing systems. The main focus is on the A321 and A350 programs.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support in the definition of the CAM (Cabin Assignment Module) for the cabin architecture.
  • Assisting with modification designs, aligning system components and aircraft interfaces with suppliers, functional design, and installation organizations.
  • Processing the configuration with colleagues and customer-specific changes to electrical cabin systems, e.g., using Principle Diagrams (from CDF to MOD completion).
  • Introduction of modern software and automation.
  • Knowledge of electrical architecture desirable, configuration management and electrical wiring and routing, as well as knowledge of software and hardware requirements desirable.
  • Other tasks include creating presentations, block diagrams, implementing technical change content, reviewing and creating aircraft drawings, equipment control, power consumption analysis, and documentation.

You have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in electrical design and/or integration is desired.
  • Knowledge of and affinity for digitalization methods, tools, and digital automation.
  • Experience in project management (not mandatory).
  • The ability to work efficiently in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Open to change and implementing it.
  • Language skills: Negotiation level English & German (French would be a plus).
