We are looking for a Sales Director – Leasing Markets to join our Commercial Directorate, within Jean-Charles' team of five collaborators!

Reporting to the Head of Leasing Markets and Asset Management, you will manage a portfolio of ATR sales campaigns targeting leasing companies worldwide. Your objective is to sell new ATR aircraft and support the placement of lessors' speculative slots with new or existing ATR operators. You will develop innovative commercial strategies and promote ATR products as a leading asset class in the market, adopting a comprehensive approach that spans from identifying customer needs to aircraft deliveries. Additionally, you will monitor and stimulate the second-hand aircraft market to reinforce ATR's market penetration and asset value retention.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for your accounts, with a focus on driving new aircraft sales and maximizing deal efficiency. Animate 360 Customer approach with Marketing, Contracts, Aircraft Customization, Customer line, Customer Support, Customer & Structured Finance.
  • Support contract negotiations and implementation with lessors under your responsibility, helping to resolve possible issues while closely monitoring delivery schedules, ensuring on-time payments, and managing any necessary skyline adjustments.
  • Facilitate and support the placement of lessors' speculative slots in ATR Airlines sales campaigns across our different regions, by providing relevant information on sales requirements to Leasing Customers and working closely with other Sales Directors, Contract Negotiators, Asset Project Managers, and Sales Finance Directors.
  • Identify and engage "Sale and Lease Back" partners within the leasing customer community to facilitate aircraft deliveries.
  • Promote ATR products as a primary asset class and provide updates to Leasing Customers on product development, market trends, commercial and financial matters:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with leasing companies, organizing regular communications, dedicated events (Lessors Days), and meetings.

- Monitor and stimulate the second-hand aircraft market to enhance ATR's market presence and support leasing transitions.

- Develop and manage the leasing intelligence database, including regular KPIs and activity reports.

- Track lessors' exposure in our backlog, focusing on yearly trends.

- Monitor availability of lessors' speculative slots.

- Analyze lessors' operational and financial performance, mergers, and transaction portfolios.

- Review lessors' performance under operating lease agreements and promote lease extensions or new deals before lease expiry.

- Gather market intelligence on active and potential lessors in ATR's market.

- Benchmark economics (sale price, lease rate, duration, conditions, etc.) of leasing proposals and contracts, including financial projections (ROE, ROI, cash flow) to understand lessors' decision-making and improve ATR's tactics.

About you:

  • Field of study: aeronautical engineering and/or business.
  • At least 7 years' experience in sales, origination, negotiation, marketing, and/or transaction execution.
  • Advanced commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and French (Italian is a plus)
  • Team player attitude, project management skills, and curiosity.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide.
  • Experience in customer contact, deal origination and negotiation, sales, leasing, or asset management.
