Join us and become part of our team as a Senior Systems Engineer at Airbus Ds Airborne Solutions GmbH in Bremen.

This is your field of responsibility:

• Planning, structuring and creating systems engineering documentation within the scope of development projects and tenders
• Technical responsibility for work packages or (sub) projects, including: - Technical project management in close cooperation with classical project management as well as further internal and external interfaces - Control and planning including monitoring and tracking of all engineering-related activities - Ensuring the timely, quality and cost-effective completion of the relevant deliverables - Proactive communication with external and internal customers

This is what you bring to us:

• Successfully completed studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable fields
• Several years of experience as a lead, chief or senior engineer in aviation development projects or similar
• Experience with military aviation or military-used systems in other domains
• Systems engineering certification or evidence of equivalent extensive practical experience
• Confident demeanor and negotiation skills in dealing with governmental and regulatory customers and stakeholders
• International travel readiness, including to countries with active travel warnings
• Knowledge and experience with common project management methods
• Outstanding initiative, coordination and communication skills as well as associated conflict resolution skills, trustworthiness, integrity and reliability
• Fluent English and German
