Manufacturing Engineering
In the context of a new project with Dassault, Airbus Atlantic is responsible for the design and manufacturing of three major sub-components of the Falcon 10X aérostructure. It is within this framework that the Industry team is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering (All Gender) to join the team detached on the Dassault site at Mérignac. At the foot of the plane, our objective is to support our client by ensuring the final work of our responsibility. The maintenance of our safety, quality and planning objectives is our priority.

Within the Airbus Atlantic Industry Division, the position of Manufacturing Engineering (All Gender) is attached to the Aircraft Manager.
Your mission:
Working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and other Methods teams to enable them to be more effective in their daily tasks which include:
- Defining and producing work instructions for the fabrication and assembly of aircraft components.
- Supporting the daily production activities (Andon, tooling, etc).
- Investigating the root causes and analyzing potential solutions taking into account the costs, impacts and risks of a production change.
- Ensuring the feasibility of production changes.
- Supporting the daily production activities.
- Identifying non-value-added activities, eliminating them and optimizing production.
- Establishing the following requirements: ergonomics & health & safety, production tools and equipment according to an optimal work methodology.
- Participating in the development and maintenance of methods procedures.
- Participating in the continuous improvement via the Airbus operating system.
About You:
- You have a college technical studies diploma in engineering and/or equivalent experience.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace or other related manufacturing industry.
- Experience in aircraft finishing will be considered an asset.
- You have a solid knowledge of methods-related processes and SAP transactions.
- You understand the value and basic principles of an ERP system (interrelations between the different functions within the organization).
- You are organized, a good planner and problem solver.
- You have good judgment, a sense of innovation, and a good decision-making process.
- You have good interpersonal communication skills and are customer-oriented.
- You have strong project management skills and work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- You are able to read technical drawings and have good 3D visualization skills.
- You have good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as the Google Suite.
- You are fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Knowledge of aircraft structures, systems or interiors will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 will be considered an asset.
