International Sales Manager

Reporting to the Executive Director of Sales, the International Sales Manager manages all overseas exports from sales to delivery, to the country of destination. This role also manages By Products and Processor items. Supervising all export sales for proper routing, documentation, and pricing and managing all production and inventories of fresh offal products. International Travel is required for this role.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Establishes the best possible sales price for beef products and authorizes written and verbal purchase agreements with outside agents
  • Work with overseas sales agents to arrange logistics
  • Coordinate activities with accounting dept., Billing Clerk & Traffic Manager
  • Involvement with USMEF and other international organizations
  • Communicate daily with overseas agents and importers
  • Manages International, By Products, Hides and Trim Sales team
  • Work with Retail, Food Service Sales managers to identify the best possible sales channels for available inventory
  • Correspond daily with export agents and customers
  • Negotiate sales with export agents and importers
  • Work to fulfill shipping volume requirements with agents and AB Foods shipping and warehouse personnel
  • Work with accounting dept. to ensure proper payments and terms
  • Manage frozen inventories and availability of chilled products
  • Work with the Warehouse Division to ensure all inventory items are being shipped as ordered
  • Work with Processing Division Offal Department to ensure completion of chilled air orders
  • Work with Hide Processing Division
  • Manage inventories and offer items as they become available
  • Offer pricing and weekly availability
  • Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years in the Beef industry
  • International Sales experience
  • Sound knowledge of Beef and Pork products
  • Computer skills with WORD/EXCEL
  • Full understanding of FSIS requirements for exporting
  • If you have a college degree, that is great, but not required
