Provides technical & application services & support to Agilent customers. This includes timely and cost-effective problem resolution with the objective of enhancing our customer experience and meet Agilent contractual agreements. Leverage post sales interactions with customers to probe and qualify further revenue opportunities and provide highly qualified leads to sales. Performs a set of required admin tasks to ensure flawless customer service for contract and trade customers.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to;
Responsible for providing technical & application support for Agilent analytical instruments to existing & new customers in markets of Pharma/Biopharma/Acedemia etc. at Sikkim.
Perform Installations, Preventive Maintenance, Repair, software & hardware IQ OQ on Agilent products as required.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer locations.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions.
Provide technical support and training to customers on instrument operation and maintenance.
Maintain service documentation and reports in compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with senior engineers and application specialists for complex issues and Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions & customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction through professional service delivery and communication
Training of internal & external team and provide technical support.
Respond promptly to related customer queries & help in prompt resolution of customer escalations.
Co-ordinate internally with all the field sales team and Managers to ensure that the key customers are delighted.
Must be willing to travel extensively.
Base Location - Sikkim
Master's degree in physics/Instrumentation or B. Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
0–1.5 years of experience in servicing analytical or scientific instruments (freshers with relevant internships may apply).
Basic understanding of chromatography, spectroscopy, and laboratory workflows.
Relevant basic/theoretical knowledge of analytical instruments like LC/GC, ICPMS, UV/FTIR, CDS S/W and server architecture.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Candidates should enjoy travelling and visiting customers.
Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills along with good organizational & negotiation skills.
