Technical & Application Support Specialist

Provides technical and application services and support to Agilent customers. This includes timely and cost-effective problem resolution with the objective to enhance our customer experience and meet Agilent contractual agreements. Leverage post sales interactions with customers to probe and qualify further revenue opportunities and provides highly qualified leads to sales. Performs a set of required admin tasks to ensure flawless customer service for contract and trade customers.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for providing technical and application support for Agilent analytical instruments to existing and new customers in markets Pharma/Food etc.
  • Promptly troubleshoot hardware and method/technology transfers issues from one instrument to another.
  • Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions and customers.
  • Training of internal and external team and provide technical support.
  • Respond promptly to related customer queries and help in prompt resolution of customer escalations.
  • Participate in programs to stimulate demand for all Agilent range of products/services and ensure timely and proper execution of those programs.
  • Perform Installations, Preventive Maintenance, Repair, software and hardware IQ OQ on Agilent products as required.
  • Coordinate internally with all the field sales team and Managers to ensure that the key customers are delighted.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Instrumentation/Pharmacy (engineering background)
  • Relevant basic/theoretical knowledge of analytical instruments like LC/LCMS – Waters System for MVIS
  • Experience 18 - 24 months
  • Candidates should enjoy travelling and visiting customers.
  • Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills along with good organizational & negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL etc.

Note#: Preferably HPLC Application Engineers - from Waters – FSE should have skills on waters instrument to support MVIS account.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
