Account Manager (M/F/D) - DACH Market

As an Account Manager, your primary mission is to drive growth and retention in your portfolio. To achieve this, you focus on three pillars: trusted advisor posture, sales processes, and sales excellence.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the customer lifecycle by organizing regular EBRs.
  • Building 6-12 months retroplannings with clients by coordinating an action plan with other internal teams.
  • Anticipating and resolving frictions.
  • Owning the client relationship with a specific focus on sourcing and qualifying upsell opportunities.
  • Handing over qualified upsell leads to Expansion Managers.
  • Anticipating and handling customer renewals.
  • Handling churn requests.
  • Respecting and suggesting improvements to actual processes to boost prioritization and efficiency.
  • Filling in the CRM properly to have the most updated data.
  • Reporting regularly on performance.
  • Sharing your expertise and best practices with the team.
  • Providing qualitative handovers to the teams you are working with to increase the quality and speed of action of those teams.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in B2B customer-facing roles in international SaaS - ideally in the finance or software sector, in sales or in an early-stage start-up.
  • Initial sales experience (ideally) in a B2B environment. The ability to identify upsell opportunities and develop actionable plans to drive expansion.
  • Clear goals spur you on - you are action-oriented and analytical in your approach.
  • The ability to excel in a dynamic environment, quickly adapt to challenges, and keep a positive attitude.
  • Strong Plus: Good understanding of Corporate Finance. Previous exposure to Finance/Treasury departments.
  • You have demonstrated your structured approach in past projects and have strong negotiation skills.
  • You speak German at C2+ level and are also business fluent in English.
