Full-time permanent position - Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week). Starting as soon as possible. What you will do:

• Branch operations and technical support
• Supervise daily branch operations and provide technical assistance to ensure quality control and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Ensure the follow-up and efficiency of the logistics department.
• Perform technical tasks as needed to support team functions.
• Team supervision and development
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the branch team, setting performance objectives and fostering professional growth.
• Approve timesheets, vacation requests, and absences.
• Foster an ethical work environment, ensuring team collaboration and adherence to safety practices.
• Instrument and supply management
• Maintain branch instrumentation, ensuring all equipment is operational.
• Ensure adequate organization and inventory of supplies to support regular branch operations.
• Health, safety, and compliance
• Ensure compliance with health and safety rules within the branch, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Performance monitoring and reporting
• Monitor branch performance, including turnaround times, and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate daily branch activities to management and make process improvement recommendations. Perform all types of employee evaluations in ADP, including probation and annual evaluations.

What you bring to our organization:

• Experience: More than 3 years of experience in supervising work teams. Experience in mechanics or instrumentation is an asset. Experience in logistics is an asset. Experience in preparing mining samples is an asset.
• Education: Completed high school diploma. Post-secondary education is an asset.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to effectively mentor and lead a team. Ability to communicate in English and French, both orally and in writing. Advanced computer skills.
