AFL Wireless Services Manager, Venue Sales – DAS & Wireless
AFL Wireless Services is seeking a Manager, Venue Sales – DAS & Wireless to develop and grow AFL's sports, entertainment venue, and major airport pipeline, focusing on Tier-I venues including MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, major arenas, airports, and large public assembly facilities.
This role is responsible for driving venue-side business development, managing the entire sales lifecycle, and securing long-term venue partnerships for venue-owned DAS, Wi-Fi, and wireless infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and target sports & entertainment venues aligned with AFL's wireless infrastructure offerings.
- Build and execute a venue-focused business development strategy to generate qualified opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end venue business development activities from outreach through contract execution.
- Engage venue owners, operators, and executives to position venue-owned DAS and Wi-Fi solutions.
- Coordinate with wireless carriers to support funding strategies and commercial alignment.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Represent AFL at industry events, conferences, and league meetings.
Venue & Carrier Coordination:
- Work with AFL's internal carrier-facing teams that manage existing wireless carrier relationships to support venue targeting and commercial alignment.
- Coordinate carrier participation, funding strategies, and access frameworks in collaboration with internal teams to support venue-owned deployments.
- Act as the primary liaison between venue stakeholders, internal carrier teams, and AFL delivery organizations throughout the sales lifecycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and delivery teams to support site surveys, early design discussions, and transition from sales to deployment.
- Ensure commercial commitments align with technical scope, timelines, and delivery capabilities.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to structure agreements consistent with AFL's operating model.
Industry Engagement & Market Intelligence:
- Attend and participate in industry events, conferences, league meetings, and venue technology forums.
- Gather market intelligence on venue trends, competitive offerings, and upcoming opportunities.
- Represent AFL as a trusted wireless infrastructure partner in the sports & entertainment market.

Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of experience in telecommunications or wireless infrastructure business development.
- Proven experience selling into large venues, preferably sports & entertainment environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- DAS
- Wi-Fi
- Neutral-host wireless models
- Carrier-venue commercial dynamics
- Private Networks
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close long-term agreements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of contract scope and requirements for pro-active management of projects and integration into processes.
Working Conditions:
- Use of standard office equipment.
- Frequent driving.
- Frequent overnight travel.
- General hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. But ability to provide support during and outside regular business hours is required.
- Must be able to work in the United States.
