Welders Wanted

Join our team as a welder, where you will be responsible for welding and fabricating structural steel in a shop environment. You will primarily work with I beams for the construction industry, ensuring that your welding is efficient and effective. The ability to read blueprints is essential, and while fitting and fabricating skills are preferred, they are not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate structural steel, focusing on I beams.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide welding projects.
• Ensure all welding tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Work with various welding techniques including flux core and MIG welding.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in flux core and MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in structural steel fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with FCAW and hard wire welding techniques.
• Skills in fitting and fabrication are advantageous.
• Knowledge of TIG welding and working with mild steel is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a shop bay environment that is indoors but not temperature controlled. This setting provides a hands-on experience with various welding technologies and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Spokane, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
