Welder - Pay $20.50/hr

Production Welder – Shelbyville, KY

Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform repair welding on parts missed by robotic welders
• Set up jigs and fixtures, ensuring proper alignment and quality
• Operate welding and production equipment efficiently and safely
• Use measuring tools to verify adherence to quality standards
• Maintain accurate production records and a clean, organized work area
• Perform MIG welding, buffing, spot welding, and fixture setups
• Load jigs, pack, deburr, sort, and rework parts as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proficiency in MIG welding is a strong plus
• Ability to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
• Must pass a MIG weld test as part of the hiring process

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with machine loading
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record

Work Environment:

• Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility
• Conditions may be warm in summer and cooler in winter

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $27.00/hr.
