Welder / Fitter

The welder / fitter will be responsible for manufacturing fire trucks within a custom shop setting. This role includes the fabrication, layout/fitting, and welding of custom equipment from the ground up.

1st shift - 5:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Thursday, optional overtime available on Fridays.

Pay - $24-28/hr to start

Job responsibilities:

MIG or TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials
Perform welding (AWS 3G/4G) according to blueprints
Fabricate components from raw stock, as needed
Read and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, blueprints, etc.
Self-check work and inspect prior processes
Use hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required
Maintain a clean and safe work area

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.
