Warehouse Worker

We are seeking a dedicated General Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched.

Responsibilities

• Place products in cooler and affix labels to containers to ensure customers receive correct items and items are properly packed.
• Maintain company safety policies and follow them at all times.
• Visually inspect products, coolers, packaging, and dry ice for cleanliness and defects to prevent customer receipt of damaged or unsightly products.
• Follow proper procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage.
• Lift dry ice from bins to scales and verify weights, then place dry ice from conveyor into proper size coolers.
• Reject defective dry ice based on weight, specifications, and packaging.
• Distinguish between different package ship modes and affix appropriate shipper labels.
• Perform quality control inspections of coolers to ensure orders are correct and properly presented.
• Obtain and place the correct product or premium in the cooler if a packing error occurs, and record the error.
• Inspect coolers at a rate of 75 coolers per hour.
• Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.
• General warehouse experience for 6+ months.
• Experience in inventory, general labor, pick, pallet jack, order picking, warehouse inventory, and warehouse packing.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large warehouse setting with conveyor belts and fast-moving products. It operates in a normal temperature warehouse environment, not a freezer. The shift is from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
