Warehouse Worker - 1st Shift

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team, specializing in the receiving side of warehouse operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of receiving and processing functions, maintaining inventory, and supporting production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods and oversee all receiving and processing functions.
• Read and understand packing slips.
• Unload trucks using manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Transfer stock to correct locations systematically.
• Check for damages, shortages, or incorrect items and report discrepancies.
• Label, organize, and store received inventory in designated locations.
• Schedule Spare Part orders in the UPS online portal.
• Process Spare Part Orders in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with production personnel to assure order completion and on-time delivery.
• Monitor and regulate Spare Parts inventory both physically and systematically.

Essential Skills

• Experience utilizing UPS online portal.
• Proficiency in setting up packages to be shipped/received in systems.
• Data entry experience, including entering data from packing slips into ERP systems.
• Ability to utilize Excel and FedEx/UPS websites.
• Proficiency in reading packing slips, BOL, and inventory stock sheets.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Steel-toed boots or shoes required.
• Experience with physical and systematic receiving of inbound product/shipments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allen Park, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.77 - $18.77/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
