Join our team as a Cook at a cozy retirement home in Wichita, where you will prepare delicious home-cooked meals for a small community of 32 residents. This role offers you the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following recipes and instructions to ensure quality and consistency.
• Assist with dishwashing and busing tables in the cafeteria after food preparation.
• Ensure food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a smooth and efficient dining service.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food service and customer service.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong cleaning and food preparation skills.
• Experience with tray line and dishwashing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced environment such as fast food or a similar setting is preferred.
• Customer service-oriented with a focus on providing a great dining experience.
• Ability to remain on feet during shifts.

Located in a welcoming retirement home in Wichita, KS, the work schedule for this position includes shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
