Field Mechanic (Travel, Per Diem, and Lodging)
This position requires a candidate with extensive experience in heavy equipment mechanics, including the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic machinery used for post and foundation preparations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic machinery, including post pounding and drill rigs.
- Perform mechanical & electrical troubleshooting and repairs on heavy equipment.
- Use a multimeter for diagnosing electrical circuits.
- Conduct valve repairs and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Engage in stick welding and PLC troubleshooting.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with multimeter, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience with heavy equipment and diesel machinery.
- Knowledge of CANBUS systems and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Competency in circuit diagnosis and electrical repairs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in valve repair and maintenance.

Work Environment
This role involves working outside on project sites with 100% travel. All travel expenses are covered. Additional $560/week untaxed per diem for ME&I.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based all over the country.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
