Join our dynamic team as a Quality Inspector where you will perform diversified inspection work on aerospace and commercial parts. You will utilize engineering drawings, process specifications, raw material specifications, test procedures, and customer documents to ensure the conformity of purchased parts, detailed parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and final deliverable units. Your role will involve inspecting raw materials, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical products to meet established requirements, exercising judgment based on obtained knowledge, performance specifications, and engineering drawings.
Conduct inspections on aerospace and commercial parts using engineering drawings, process specifications, and customer documents.
Verify conformity of purchased parts, detailed parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and final deliverable units.
Inspect raw materials and mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical products for compliance with established requirements.
Exercise judgment based on obtained knowledge, performance specifications, and engineering drawings.
Seven years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in first article to final inspection in a job shop environment.
Experience with Aerospace, Metal, or Plastic Industry.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and minimal on-the-job training.
Proficient in reading and understanding complex engineering drawings and GD&T readings from blueprints.
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision work and attention to detail.
Understanding of True Positioning, thread, and Geometric Tolerance.
Proficiency in using Optical & Video Comparator, Surface Plate and Height Gages, Micrometers and Calipers, Plug and Ring Thread Gages, Pin gages.
Cert Review for Processing: Heat Treat, Anodizing, Plating, Passivate, etc.
Basic knowledge of AMS & MIL Std.
Basic calibration methods.

Manufacturing involves plastic and metal, resulting in a moderately strong smell. Work hours are Monday to Friday with flexible start times from 5:30 am to 7:00 am.
This is a Permanent position based out of Orange, California.
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
