Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks. This position requires travel and hands-on work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform electrical work with voltages ranging from 110V to 480V.
• Interact professionally with customers to ensure a positive service experience.
• Travel to various sites and perform field service duties.
• Maintain work vehicles and ensure they are in good operating condition.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of hands-on mechanical experience, ideally in plant maintenance.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with welding is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of installation, wiring, fabrication, and preventive maintenance.

Work Environment

The role operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with minimal Saturday work. Technicians report to the shop and then travel to various sites using a company vehicle. The job involves working outdoors, often on ladders up to 40 ft, and lifting up to 100 lbs with the assistance of lifters and hoists. Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr. Competitive benefits - come see and I can go over.
