Service Technician

Join our maintenance crew to assist with a variety of tasks, including moving furniture, cleaning trailers, and repairing trailers. You will be responsible for tasks such as framing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and more. This role requires heavy lifting up to 50lbs and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Move and clean furniture, trailers, and shop areas.
• Repair trailers with tasks including framing, carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear.
• Assist supervisors with daily duties.
• Provide customer service and create floor plans as needed.
• Control inventory and perform inspections for buildings.
• Make modifications according to customer needs.

Essential Skills

• Background in construction or light industrial work.
• Mechanically inclined with electrical and plumbing aptitude.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• General labor and carpentry skills.
• Troubleshooting abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, trades, or building maintenance.
• Experience as a hands-on electrician or plumber.
• Experience in customer service and inventory management.

Work Environment

Work in the Airdrie area, primarily indoors with some outdoor tasks. Join a supportive team of five members, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Flexibility is available during busy times. Ideal candidates live in Airdrie or North Calgary.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
