Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to perform maintenance repairs and calibration testing. You will be responsible for updating the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to report daily operations, checking equipment, diagnosing and analyzing failures to determine necessary maintenance, and reporting findings while escalating issues as needed. You will apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps, and support MDR testing and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs and calibration testing.
• Update the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to document daily operations.
• Check equipment, diagnose, and analyze failures to determine maintenance needs.
• Report findings and escalate issues as necessary.
• Support MDR testing and troubleshooting.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly, hand tools, production, soldering, and blueprint reading.
• Experience in assembling, packaging, and repairing equipment, specifically ventilators.
• Ability to use a tape measure, operate on an assembly line, and work with mechanical and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing tasks.
• Ability to work well with a high degree of supervision.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools and testing equipment, including screwdrivers, torque wrenches, power meters, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of systems and products.

Work Environment

You will work in a temperature-regulated environment where teamwork is essential. The position involves repetitive tasks, with both sitting and standing required. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Palm Springs, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
