Service Technician

We are seeking skilled service technicians to construct modular units, typically found at construction sites. The role involves building the entire unit, as well as assembling desks, chairs, and other furnishings as requested by clients. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined construction workers with experience in using both hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:

• Construct temporary office units in accordance with client specifications.
• Assemble and install furniture and equipment inside the units.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete construction tasks.
• Work primarily within the facility, with occasional outdoor tasks.
• Apply framing, carpentry, and construction experience to build quality units.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in construction, framing, and carpentry.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work is beneficial.
• Willingness to perform varied tasks within the construction trades.

Work Environment:

You will work in a covered, clean facility 75% of the time, with 25% of the work conducted outdoors. The current summer schedule is Monday-Friday from 6am-4:30pm, transitioning to a winter schedule of 7am-5:30pm. Be open to occasional overtime and Saturdays, with current hours averaging 50 per week, reducing to 45 once fully staffed. Dress code includes work clothes like jeans, t-shirts, and steel-toed shoes, with additional PPE provided.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
