Traveling Service Technician / Shop Mechanic

We are seeking skilled and motivated Traveling Service Technicians and Shop Mechanics to join our team. These roles are essential to supporting our contractors by ensuring the reliability and performance of our foundational rigs and equipment. We are a trusted partner in the construction industry, providing comprehensive equipment services to contractors who require foundational support. From routine maintenance to complex repairs and equipment training, we ensure our clients' projects stay on track and within budget.

What You'll Do:

• Perform service, repair, assembly, and maintenance on foundational rigs and heavy equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) and corrective repairs both in the shop and in the field.
• Assemble and set up equipment, and train contractors on proper usage.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Prepare equipment for rental and inspect returned equipment for service needs.

Equipment You'll Work With:

• Diesel hammers, vibratory hammers, air hammers
• Hydraulic vibros and power packs
• Bauer rigs with electronic-hydraulic controls
• Rotary motor units and hydraulic top drive units
• Dozers, excavators, and other heavy machinery

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel engines
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
• Preventative maintenance and repair expertise
• Welding experience is a plus
• Proficiency with multimeters and standard mechanic tools (up to ¾" drive and 2" wrenches)
• Must have own tools; specialty tools provided by ECA
• Intermediate experience level preferred

Shift and Pay:

• 7am-3:30pm (prepare to stay later)
• $25-33.00 (depending on experience)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
