Service Electrician

We are seeking a dedicated Service Electrician to join our dynamic team. Since our inception in 1997, we have evolved into a leading design-build, end-to-end electrical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial projects across the BC Lower Mainland. As a Service Technician, you will handle service calls, primarily at commercial offices in the Vancouver area, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch electrical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Handle service calls at commercial offices in the Vancouver area.
• Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as required.
• Apply a good understanding of commercial electrical installation methods with minimal supervision.
• Manage and execute work orders using company software and equipment.
• Train and manage apprentices when necessary.
• Maintain a service van and gas card for business purposes only.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman electrician with at least 3 years of service experience (8+ years total).
• Experience in electrical work, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical principles and practices.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Clean driver's abstract and valid license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Commercial and/or TI experience.
• Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and pulling wire.

Work Environment

Our team currently consists of 40 electricians, with plans to expand beyond 60. You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime depending on project demands. Enjoy competitive wages and a supportive work environment.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
